My Vision for Australia

My vision for Australia is a self-confident country, one that cherishes its history and is confident of its future as a free, just and prosperous society.

It is a country that :

• Values its historic and natural heritage and is dedicated to protecting its unique environment;
• Is respected for its contribution to the future peace and prosperity of international society;
• Honours its indigenous people;
• Celebrates its ethnic diversity and welcomes those people from other places and other cultures who embrace its values and seek to make Australia their home.
• And finally, is a tolerant and generous country, one that offers support to the disadvantaged, encourages the talented and offers the opportunity that through their enterprise, all can share in its great promise.
