LIVING in unity will be the theme of Saturday's Carole Park Come Together Festival.

The event will feature live entertainment from Inala hip hop group Indigenous Intrudaz, a visit from Channel Ten's Ranger Stacey and the Geckoes Rockin' Ranger, food stalls, rides, face-painting and more.

State Member for Inala, Annastacia Palaszczuk, will launch the festival as well as a new Community Youth Engagement Project to create activities in the area between Acacia Ridge and Carole Park.

The festival will also include an indigenous welcome from Billy Bonner and the launch of a child-friendly map by Senator Russell Trood.

Federal Member for Oxley Bernie Ripoll is donating bikes as raffle prizes while Brisbane City Councillor Les Bryant (Richlands) is donating wristbands.

Wristbands for all-day rides cost $12 prepaid or $15 on the day. Single rides cost $2 each. Passes are available at Carole Park State School and Elorac Place.

* The festival will be held on Saturday, June 16, between 1-5pm at Community Park, Southampton Rd, Carole Park.
